when washing baby clothes you should really ONLY be using Dreft detergent in the wash.
but i would soak them in cold water first, and apply Dreft brand stain stick, then wash in Dreft brand detergent….
it really is a big deal
other detergents have chemicals that are way too harsh for baby…
good luck
I buy generic liquid baby detergent, dreft is too expensive, and I use it to spot treat stains from baby formula on all my baby’s clothes. It works great on colored and white fabrics.
It depends on where you live, but I find that the oxyaction soakers are really good because they fight the stain not wreck the clothes, I have use them on all my kids clothes and got many stains out. I like Napisan Oxyaction the best.
I have found that nappy sand (the pink bucket) works for me I would soak my kids clothes in it for a day or so and the stains come right off even cherry stains. and it is great on colours. It is expensive however it is cheaper in the long run…
I always use shout or greased lightning.
I use regular laundry soap without any perfumes in it for my baby clothes the dreft is way to expensive and in my opinion the cheaper stuff works just as good your just paying for the name, but to get baby food out of her clothes I buy the dreft spot stuff its like 5 bucks and I just spray that on let it sit for a few minutes and then wash and it always has come right out.
Good luck with carrot!!!!
I gave my 2 year old mashed carrot and potato and she thought it was to hand paint her clothes with, lol. I have soaked them over and over in nappisan for colors and it hasn’t budged. If you find something that does work. PLEEEEEEEASE let me know, lol
I use stuff called Shout stain remover. Spray it on the stain and wash in the machine. Its great x
There is a spray on laundry treater called TOTALLY TODDLER that works awesome on getting stains out of clothing. You can find it in a spray bottle at places like Walmart, Babies R Us and similar places. It’s like $3 for a big spray container of it. It will last quite awhile and works great on colors, whites anything you need to get baby stains off of- even bedding! Since it is made for toddlers and babies it’s gentler than other pretreaters made for adults.
OXY CLEAN has a baby formula out now as well that works pretty good in the wash but I think it’s kind of pricey for the size of container you actually end up with.
The other thing that I found that works great is the Costco brand of laundry powder. It isn’t scented really heavy and it doesn’t cause irratations to baby skin either. It’s around $15 for a tub but you’ll only have to buy it like once every 8 months to a year. It’s all I use at home and it works well.
