Umm. Reminds me of “Rule Britannia”. It means Britain, as in England. Lol. Its okay, a bit OTT for my taste. If you like things named after countries and cities, some unique but prettier ones include Vienna, Barcelona, Atlanta, Sydney and of course, London.
it reminds me of this encyclopedia, britannica. but the name is pretty, and unique.
If my firend was called that, I’d always call them Encyclopaedia. Just because it sounds a lot like Britannica. Or Psycho, because Psycho-Cyclo-Encyclopaedia.
Rule Britannia,
Britannia rules the waves,
Britain never, ever, ever shall be slaves.
if u call her brittany or brittni sure:)
I’ve never heard it used as a person’s name before. People can call their kids anything these days so I guess if you really love it like you say then go for it.
It’s got a few possibilities for shortening it too if you like the idea of that… Brit, Britney, Tania, Tanny, Nia….
Personally though, it’s not to my taste.
how about brooklyn…..or harlem,tottenham,slough,luton
Reminds me of the encyclopedia and ‘Rule Britannia’ (and I only know the silly version).
It just seems like it is supposed to be a ‘classier’ version of Brittany.
What do you think of Celadonia (‘swallow, bird’)? It just popped into my head.
No thank you!
sounds like the encyclopedia do not like it personally. It is long and has many sylables making it awkward.
