Javanna? I’m not a fan of that one.
Isabella Nayomé
It’s my neice’s name and we are hispanic as well. I love the name and hope it helps.
Good Luck.
I love the name….sorry I am sure thats not what you want to hear….but I think its a great different name. My daughters name is Julianna…..so I guess it has a similar kind of sound…Good luck with another name.
how about Lala one of my friends liked the name her baby is half white and mexican too but she had a boy but its a really pretty name
Change it to Jovanna.
Tell your sister to give her child a name that she can easily spell and one where her teachers and others will not be mispronouncing it throughout her life. Javanna is kinda ghetto. She can do much better.
Like life is not hard enough, why give your kid a name they will have to go around explaining! It may be a good name if your from some other country!!
Javanna is definitely one of those made-up names just to be unique. I’ve always had an aversion to those kind of names. I used to work with a lot of Latinas, and here are some the names that I liked:
Julieta
Esmeralda
Lucinda
Alia
Silvia
Cecelia
Irene
I’m sorry, but I definitely agree with you and your family! Javanna sounds like an odd mix between Java, Havana, Cabana and Javex. Your sister might eventually realize that the name isn’t that great. But either way, I’m sure the baby will be wonderful. Ultimately, it’s her decision though, so you should try to be supportive.
I think that Javanna is pretty.
I think it’s a great name. It’s unique, and creative.
I THINK ITS A PRETTY NAME FOR A LITTLE GIRL AND YOU SHOULD SUPPORT HER AND HER DECISION
Javanna sounds alot like “javaan” which means someone from Java. I was actually expecting someone with an indonesian sentiment to nake her child that. I would say keep looking for names, But in the end only the mom can decide.
Be careful with that name Javanna, I have a friend named JaVonna and sometimes people get the J and the V mixed up when they say her name…..if you know what I’m saying.
No I don’t like Javanna!
Johnna is better.
Nora
Antoinette
Juliona /Juliana
Thumbs down to Javanna – sorry.
How about….
Alejandra – a Spanish form of Alexandra
Alandra – a Spanish form of Alexandra
Felicia – fortunate:happy
Marisol – sunny sea
Marquita – Spanish forms of Marcia
Pilar – pillar, column
Rosalinda – a Spanish form of Rosalind – fair rose
Josephine. Then you can call her Josie or Jo-Jo. I like Josephine Elizabeth. Then you can even call her Jo-Beth.
That’s an ugly name.
Javanna not my favorite name, maybe johanna, or magdelena (maggie)
Javanna….Love it..it sounds unique.
How about the name Serena?? Anything but Javanna. I know it’s a unique name, but it just sounds weird!! No offense.
Well, my baby is half italian and half puerto rican. If it’s a girl, we’re gonna name her Selena or Destiny, and a boy will be Either Angel or Jael
I can see that your sister likes ethnic sounding names that are not that common. I like them too so I can see why she would like Javanna, although I dont like the name at all – reminids me of a coffee drink! My suggestions for her would be :
Vivianna (life)
Lucianna (light)
Giada (Jade)
or Contessa (princess).
Those are classically Spanish or Italian names and would go lovely for your sisters baby. Many blessings!:)
