(Carter, I-Play, Sozo, ect.) I go bother, there was a clothing brand that causes newborns, infants, until the skin rash or skin irritation. I received a lot of different brands from my baby shower.

   I haven’t heard of any clothing line being bad for baby’s skin. You should however wash every item of clothing before letting baby wear them. That way you get any excess die out and perfumes that might cause irritation to her delicate skin.

   I don’t think it matters.
   All I know from what my mother and mother-in-law have instructed me to do is to wash everything with a mild unscented detergent before I put anything on the baby. Blankets, towels and clothes. Everything.

   I haven’t heard that. I know sometimes tags inside of clothes will irritate the skin. I washed all my daughters close the day after my baby shower just so they were all fresh when i had her and it was time for her to wear them.

   I think what you’re talking about is the Gerber tag-less onesies. Its the printed tag, not the actual fabric. Just wash with Tide Free & Clear or Dreft. If they make the rash on the back, don’t use them.

   P.S. When you go to the doctor also ask him about skin care stuff about your baby, because there is some brands that seriously irritate baby’s skin, it just depends aboutthe baby, GO TO DOCTOR!

   I have not heard of that, but I do know to wash everything with detergent that is made for a baby, I bought Dreft. I bought a lot of clothes for my baby after we found out the sex last week, but I will wash everything before it touches her skin.

   Wash all the new clothes before dressing your infant. Avoid nylon and polyester gartments and stick to cotton.
