Yes, I think you need to pick another letter. My bf’s last name is Elliott and two of the names we really liked, but couldn’t use were Ella for a girl and Ethan for a boy.
Laura Lauder,
Lucy Lauder,
lilly?
lauras my name
LU Just a thought.
I recommend staying away from names that start with “La” like Laura or Lane because it’s too much with Lauder. How about Lisa or Lexi?

i think if you say it over and over, eventually it will grow on you and you are probably the only person who thinks it sounds funny. i would just pick an L name you like and go with it!
Leah or Lexi are adorable
Louise
Leanne
Lisa
Laura
Linzi,Lindsey,Lynsey whichever ever way you prefer to spell it
I wouldn’t use an L name at all.
Variety is the spice of life, as they say, so first middle and last names should begin with different letters and have a different amount of syllables.
Lana Lauder sounds like a cartoon character. If you love L in general you could use a name that contains the letter. I love names that have some letters in common, it adds a nice touch to the flow.
Annabel Lauder (though the Ls run together :/ )
Amelia Lauder
Dahlia Lauder
Elizabeth Lauder
Helena Lauder
Madeleine Lauder (this one sounds really beautiful)
Matilda Lauder (ditto)
Penelope Lauder
Lara, Lucy, Lindsey
Liana?
Pronounced: Lee-ar-na
I was gonna say Lorelai before I saw you didn’t think it fits. So at least you know one person (me!) thinks it fits!
Lauren Lauder <– I Think That Name Goes Very Nice .. I Alsoo Think Lola Lauder ..

I don’t think L names would fit with ur last.
I agree with whomover said to stay away from names starting with “LA”. They just don’t sound right
Lydia / Lydie (I think Lydia is soo pretty and sounds lovely with your last name!)
Leona
Lindsay
Lichelle (rhymes w/ Michelle)
Lilianna / Lily / Lillian
Linae
Loretta / Lorie
Lorinda / Linda / Lindy

Louise / Louisa
Lucinda / Lucy
Luella

I have always thought the name Lucy was cute and it flows easy… Lucy Lauder. Lisa Lauder sounds nice also. You might also consider a name that doesn’t start with an L, but a nickname of that name that does. For example choosing the name Delaney, and calling her Laney for short or Alexis and calling her Lexi.
Other names that sound well:
Leeann
Leona
Lesley
Liana
Lindsay
Good luck, happy name hunting and congratulations.
Huh, L names are great but with your surname, they could be a tongue twister! I suppose if you gave her what some people call a double barrelled name, it would break up the L sounds and you’d get to use one of the names you love.
Lana-Cate Lauder
Larelai-Jade Lauder
Lena-Jane Lauder
something along those lines. I like the names Lynette and Lucinda.
Lexi Lauder
I do agree with some of the others that u might need to pick a different letter. but if u truly love L names I’d hate for u to have to give that up. these may not flow all that well but how about:
Lenabelle Lauder
Larissa Lauder
Lexandra Lauder
Liana Lauder
Lilianna Lauder
with Lenabelle its like 2 names put together so when u say it, it sounds like u said a second name before saying the last name and it helps with the sound so u don’t have one L sound running into another, so u might wanna think of names like that and a very short middle name so that the full name doesn’t seem to long.
there are few names and I don’t know if this makes sense but when u say them its almost like they have a strong L sound so although they don’t start with L, u get that L sound u want. LOL hope that makes sense. U can hear it in names like:
Alissa Lauder
Elina Lauder
Galina Lauder
Olivia Lauder
I also think issa names sound great with your last name like:
Larissa
Alissa, Elissa
Yulissa
Clarissa
Karissa
I hope this helped, good luck!
lets jus tput some out their:
Leonie
Lyndsay/Lindsay
Laura
Lana
Laurie
Lily/Lilly/Lillie
Lucy
Lu-Lu
good luck
xx
Edit: Lisa & Lexi get a thumbs up!
Lyla that’s one of my favorite names ever
Leona ~ German ~ Brave as a Lioness
Libby ~ Hebrew ~ Oath to God
Liesel (lee-sel) ~ German ~ God is Boutiful
Lottie ~ French ~ Little
Lydia ~ Greek ~ Maiden from Lydia
I like Lauren, but I may be a little bias since that is my name.
Good Luck!
I think Leilani does or Leilanie, it flows and the first name is really pretty(Lah-lay-nee)
Best Wishes
Bella
i like lana.
