   Check out international trade sites like alibaba.com tons of them on there. If you know exactly what you want to buy, you could build a RFP (request for proposal) and put it out on http://www.whyabe.com for free. That way suppliers would send your their prices to fulfill your order.

   Here’s a better idea, open a shop that sells gently used kids goods.

   Kids outgrow clothing and accessories faster than they can ruin them, so kid’s clothing, unlike that of adults, has a higher turnover rate not because of wear, but because of size. There’s already shops that take advantage of this. It’s good for parents because they can recoup some of the money they spend on the baby’s clothes, and it’s good for them again because they can buy gently used baby’s clothes for a smaller cost than regular retail.

   You’d still have the brands, and the markup, your supply chain is just different. But you should never have a shortage.

   There’s a number of these in my city, you should consider it. Because when you think about it, buying new for kids just isn’t logical.
