which objects of the child, have you done or plan to buy in preparation for the arrival of the child? and were / are so in pregnancy?

   We bought :
   Nappies
   Newborn and 0-3 months clothes (my daughter was born too big for the newborn size lol)
   cot
   sling
   pushchair
   lots of blankets
   Sanitary towels (quite heavy bleeding after birth)
   nipple pads
   I breastfed so we didn’t need any bottles or any of that

   I’m not a parent but I would buy:

   Diapers
   baby clothes
   powder
   small gentle towels for scrubbing baby in bath
   bath soap
   baby food
   mitts to prevent baby from scratching himself
   one of those things that sucks out boogers
   a thing for a baby to teethe on
   breast pump
   stroller
   crib
   wet naps
   baby bag
   and a radio walkie talkie thing

   and if I were about to give birth I would DEFINITELY be shy because I wouldn’t like having my vagina on display for doctors and nurses, and I would be paranoid that I would crap myself while pushing.

   I’m not pregnant but I always grew up with my cousins giving birth to children at a really young age, i remember talking care of their children certain time

   The things that I needed the most right after bringing home my son was:
   diapers
   formula
   blankets
   0-3 size onsies (most of the time it was so warm he just went around the house in just a diaper)
   baby wipes

   Other than that, you would need a place for baby to sleep and maybe a chair or rocker to put him/her in when they aren’t being held.

   And I wasn’t really too shy when I was pregnant because I was so happy!

   We’ve just had a little baby girl (1 month early!) and found this list pretty good: http://www.newbabylist.com/newbornchecklist/

   Get stuff early though cos I was running around the shops while my wife was in hospital having contractions!! not a good start!
