are you having a boy or girl?
girl – Jenna Lee, Jaime Cecil, Cecelia Lee
boy – Brian Larin, Gordon James, David Brian

  2. MC(quads on the way!) says:

    Jennie
    Leerin
    Dacil
    Bridon

  3. Megan says:

I would mix them up like maybe the first name from your side
and middle from his or vice versa

    Boys
    Brian Cecil
    Brian Gordon
    David Cecil
    ect.

    Girls
    Jamie Larin
    Jenna Lee

  4. staceydv4 says:

    david gordon,, jamie larina

jaynan, brilee, jaydon, braydon, leena, leenon?
i know that probably wasn’t much help and i’m sorry.

as for using one person’s name, i think that would be fine, given it’s your mother’s name if it’s a girl or your father in law’s if it’s a boy.

  6. cedwick says:

    Jenna Brianne
    Gordon James

Well, we were asked by the great grandfather to name our son if we ever had one after him… he has this horrible horrible middle name that I will never repeat hehe. Anyway I only gave it to my son as the middle name.. I said no way is he getting that as his first name.. My husbands whole family tried to pressure me into it even though his sister just had a boy last year and didn’t name her kid that. Ugh!

If we have a girl ever we plan on doing her middle name my grandmothers middle name.. or if it’s a boy we’ll do MY grandfathers middle name as the babies middle name. Hope that makes sense.

The vikings have this old tradition that your child gets named after the last person who died, so as to carry their name on. I think thats nice.

Uhmm… I don’t think it’s disrespectful to use only one persons name, not at all.. maybe if its a boy your husbands family’s name and if it’s a girl.. your familys name? Afterall boys usually are named after their father or grandfather on the dads side and usually carry the fathers last name.

    Good luck!

the capital letters are what letters i took out from each name to make the possible name:

    diana (jamIe+David+gordoN+jennA)
    madeline (jAMie+David+cEcil+jeNna)
    brenda (jAmiE+Brian+gorDoN+laRin)
    raina (jAmie+briaN+goRdon+larIn)

    lane (Lee+dAvid+cEcil+lariN)
    micael (jaMie+brIAn+CEcil+Larin)

since i’m getting tire of the (), i’ll just list the other choices and you can figure it out.

    brianna/brianne
    angeline
    nancie
    margie
    maggie
    elaine/ alaina/ elaina

    brandon
    darren
    ronald
    edmond/edmund
    donald
    jorge
    gregorie
    bobbie
    dennie
    daniel

i think it will be unfair to leave someone out.

i have all three of my kids named after mine and my husbands family. So I know where you are coming from. We chose our first names randomly, and the middle names in reference to family members. We ended up choosing:

Dylan James Garry (James and Garry are our fathers)
Kane Bradley Skeet (Bradley and Skeet are our Grandfathers)
Amali May Dawn (May and Dawn are our Grandmothers)

so here are some suggestions(for a girl):
    * considering the fact both your mothers have the same initials you could respect them both by naming the baby J_____ L_____ (last name)

*____________ Jemma (or Jennie) (last name)

    *Jamie Lara (last name)

    *____________ Jenna-Lee (last name

*(I personally do not think Jenna Jamie flows well enough to put together in a name)

here are some suggestions for a boy:
    *___________ David Gordon (last name)

    * Brian ________ Gordon (last name)

    * B__________ G_________ (last name)

It doesnt matter if you use either/or, but personally I would try to respect both sides of the family if i could.

Good luck, and I hope my suggestions help!!

  10. ★ says:

Jalin (jay-lin) a mix of jamie and brian
    Jencil (gen-sil) jenna and cecil

  11. Avalon says:

Jemma for a girl – combines both grandmas’ first names
Brandon for a boy – combines both grandpas’ first names

  12. Elizabeth D says:

well, it could go 2 different ways!

Mixing and combining names together to make new names:

Jamie Lee + Jenna Larin= Janna Leanne (said JAN-nah) love it….!
    Gordon Cecil +Brian David= Goran Deville (GORE-an DEH-vill) ewwww….

    like that

    -OR-

    mixing existing names:

Jamie Larin (LOVE IT!!) or Jenna Lee ( also LOVE IT)

Gordon David (like it!!) or Cecil Brian (also like it!!)

    or some thing like that.

—to answer your other question, yes it is ok. it wont be unfair. name this baby after one, and then the next after the other. that way all of the grandparents get used and it is totally fair!!

    good luck!
