YES. My son LOVES tags!
We got him a ‘Taggy Book.’
HE LOVES IT!
You should get your daughter a TAGGY BLANKET.
Look at this website:

It’s dedicated to babies who love tags =]
They make blankets, toys, books, etc.
ALL made of tags! =]
They all are. That’s why a company invented Taggies. It’s toys and clothes with tags all over them.
OMG Yes! and yep most babies I know seem too. My neices definatly do. Wouldnt it be great if they made a toy that was all tags? haha. My daughter would have a blast with that.
Oh wow. reading the other answers I see that they do. I will definatly have to find a toy like that for my daughter. She would love it
Most babies enjoy the tags… They now have an entire line of clothing called taggies.. because kids enjoyed them so much
LOL
That’s so funny my son does the same. He loves the tags!!
He has this blanket he loves and i noticed it’s because of the tag it has. He can play with that thing for a while.
This is a good question…
Yes! My son loves tags of any kind! That is funny because I always thought that it was just my kid who would love the tags more than the toys themselves! Now at least I know he is not necessarily unusual- in that area anyhow!
Yes!!
Yep. DS has been doing that since he could grab at things. At almost 1 he’s still fascinated.
Yes!! My daughter could rather put the tags in her mouth ot play with them than all of her toys. She somehow finds a tag wherever it is in the room and is fascinated by it for hours. Instead of with the toys she moves on in minutes. I am going to the tag website thanks to the first comment! Haha.
yes it’s like the whole box thing. Just wait. at christmas. All those toys your buy baby will be worthless to her. she will play with the box more. I promise. lol
definitely not just your baby!! funny question because i was just thinking about that today… i was in the store with dylan buying christmas stuff and he was in the cart. god forbid he actually play with the fun parts like the bells or the other toys…. instead he starts chewing on the tags and was chewing on his blanket… he made this face and goes ” ehhh” i’m like yeah that doesnt taste too good does it?
i think maybe it’s because t hey are so attentive to details. there are all the little letters and numbers and some are shiny and really exciting to look at because theres so much to figure out. i dont understand it really though. there are some pretty complex toys or books and instead of being excited with those, they go straight for the tags, or start eating the papers… wtf?? lol. paper tastes disgusting right?
sorry for the novel but.. one day i had dylan in his crib with a little giraffe for his nap. he was silent for about 40 minutes and i was like sweet!! he finally learned to fall asleep on his own!! i went in just to make sure he was okay, and he wasnt asleep at all… i forgot to take the tag off the giraffe and he had eaten most of it.. he was in there chomping on the paper, it was all over his mouth.
anyway… fun question, it made me laugh… your little girl sounds so cute and adventurous lol.
it should be interesting to see what happens this year with christmas… if they’ll just try to eat the paper or actually care what’s wrapped up inside of it!! (dylan already got ahold of tissue paper and loves that it crunches up, then when it’s in a ball he tries to eat it lol.. )
oh yes, when i noticed my son had a fascination for the tags on all his toys I bought him one of those “taggie” blankets. Wouldn’t you know it…he would play with the manufacturer’s tag on the taggie blanket! to funny!
My son LOVES tags as well. He has a playmat that he will just stare and flip and pull at the tags for hours.
OMG!!!!!!!!!! i THOUGH HE WAS THE ONLY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS SOOO FUNNY!!!
mY SON ABSOLUTELY LOVESSSS TAGS..
iTS THE ONE THING I KNOW WILL ALWAYS GRAB HIS ATTENTION.
He wont put them in his mouth but he will stare at the tags FOREVER!!!
oNE time when he was about 4 months I had put him in his crib to take a quick shower and when I put him in, he went straight for the tag on his sheet saver, so I let him be..
When I got out of the shower 10-15 minutes..he was IN THE SAME SPOT, DOING THE SAME THING lol
Its so funny…
Especially that I know he isnt the only one with this fascination!!
Mine would get angry that he couldn’t TEAR them off!
My son’s not that old yet, or not that interested, but my nephew was obsessed with tags. My sister had to cut off all the tags of his shirts because he’d just stand there forever playing with the tag.
For those of you who want to save money, what my sis did was cut out all the tags, then she took two soft wash cloths, placed the edge of each tag (from the clothes) around the edge of one wash cloth (with most of the tag out) and then the other wash cloth on top of that and sewed down the edges… very cute, very inexpensive alternative to Taggies!
When I was a kid I remember putting the tags from my toys on my fingers. So I loved it when I found out my son had the same infatuation.
I bought some wide ribbon, and some fleece. I made a little blanket the size of a dishtowel and looped different colored and textured ribbons around the edges and it is his favorite thing on the planet. He wont go ANYWHERE without it. I also went so far as to make him a blanket with the “tags” on the edges. It has a print on one side, and the other is a solid color with BIG (well-fastened buttons on it! I hope he loves it!! Im giving it to him for Christmas.
